Fur-ever Friend
Every cat at MeanKat is looking for a safe, loving fur-ever home. If you don't already have a cat at home, you'll be required to adopt two — so they always have a companion. And bonded pairs are never separated.
- Adoption fees: R600 for a single cat · R500 per cat for a duo pair
- No cat at home yet? Two cats are adopted together for company
- Bonded pairs are always rehomed together — never split up
- Fees help cover rescue, care, sterilisation & medical costs
- All cats are vetted, vaccinated & sterilised
- Process: in-person chat → home check → application → perfect-match → take your furbaby home
Helping Paw
Whether you can spare a few hours a week or just want to drop by and spend time socialising the cats, we'd love to have you on the MeanKat team.
- Cat socialisation & enrichment shifts
- Café floor support during busy hours
- Event setup for cat-themed evenings
- Photography & social media help
More Cats
Guest fees cover daily care, but vet bills, rescues from urgent situations, and ongoing rehabilitation always need extra support. Every rand goes straight to the cats.
